Newcastle C-Card and Sexual Health Good Practice Event 2019

This event will share and celebrate local good practice in sexual health work. It's a great opportunity to find out about all the great things going on in Newcastle and to network with workers from a range of C-Card outlets and other projects in Newcastle.

We will be awarding and celebrating Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Awards for Newcastle Sexual Health Training and celebrating those services who have gained ‘You’re Welcome' accreditation and re-accreditation during 2019.

We will also be presenting the Newcastle Sexual Health Good Practice Awards 2019, recognising and celebrating some of the brilliant work that is taking place in Newcastle to improve sexual health.

Refreshments and registration from 9.00am, prompt start at 9.30am.

A buffet lunch will be served between 1.00pm-2.00pm.

How do I get there?

Please enter the venue via the main reception of the Civic Centre (accessed via the rear car park).

When travelling to the Civic Centre, please use public transport where possible. Haymarket Metro station is right next to the Civic Centre and many buses stop at Haymarket or even closer to the Civic. There is limited public pay-and-display parking in the carpark behind the Civic Centre (entrance off the small roundabout where Sandyford Road meets St Mary's Place) and some spaces available for blue badge holders.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we will have a sign-in sheet at the event. Please ensure you register on your way in to the event.

Can I update my registration information?

You can log in to your Eventbrite account to make any changes necessary to your booking.

How do I cancel my place?

If you need to cancel your place, please log in to your Eventbrite account and cancel your place. Please note that all cancellations must be received by Tuesday 3 December 2019, or they will be subject to a late cancellation fee of £30. Please ensure you have received your manager's permission to attend the event and ensure your manager notes the date and full details as they will be liable for the non-attendance charge if you do not attend and your place has not been cancelled with at least one week's notice.
